How to create Modules and Lessons in eLearning

In this tutorial you will learn how to create Modules and Lessons for your eLearning

  • CREATE ELEARNING

Step 1:

  • Scroll to “Modules & Lessons
  1. Click “Add Module”

Step 2:

  1. Give the module a name
  2. Give the module a good description
  3. Only upload an image if you are going to use the Modern Them
  4. Click on “Create Module”
    • Make sure you enable the module if you want it to be visible

Step 3:

  1. You can edit the module by clicking on the pencil
  2. Click on the plus sign if you want to add a lesson (See Step 4)
  3. Click to duplicate module
  4. Click on trashcan to delete module
    • Note that if you delete a module, you will delete all the lessons associated with that module

Step 4:

  1. Make sure the lesson is enabled to make the lesson visible to the student
  2. Create a name for the lesson
  3. If you want to have text before the content, add it in the description box
  4. If you want to have text after the content, add it in the description box
  5. Add the duration in minutes, on how long it will take to complete the lesson

Step 5:

  1. Add the duration in minutes
  2. Add the level of difficulty of the lesson
  3. Add a lesson icon, only if you are using the modern theme
  4. Click on “Create Lesson”

Step 6:

  1. Click “Save”

Step 7:

  • Click on the second tab “Content”
  • Add the content type (different options)
  1. Option 1 – YouTube:
    • Add the YouTube Link
  2. Click “Save Changes”

Step 8:

  1. Option 2 – Vimeo Video:
    • Add the Vimeo Link
  2. Click “Save Changes”

Step 9 :

  1. Option 3 – Vidello:
    • Add the Vidello Embed Code
  2. Click “Save Changes”

Step 10:

  1. Option 4 – Builderall Video Manager (Video Hosting):
    • Choose from the list of videos you have uploaded in the Video Hosting
  2. Choose what controls you want to give the student
  3. Click “Save Changes”

Step 11:

  1. Option 5 – Amazon S3:
    • Add your Amazon Credentials
  2. Click “Add Account”
  3. Click “Save Changes”

Step 12:

  1. Option 6 – SoundCloud:
    • Add the SoundCloud Link
  2. Click “Save Changes”

Step 13:

  1. Option 7 – SlideShare presentation:
    • Add the SlideShare Link
  2. Click “Save Changes”

Step 14:

  1. Option 8 – PDF File
    • Drag and drop or upload the PDF file
  2. Click “Save Changes”

Step 15:

  1. Option 9 – Web Page:
    • Add the URL of any web page you want to add to your eLearning
  2. Click “Save Changes”

Step 16:

  1. Option 10 – HTML Code:
    • Add the HTML Embed Code
  2. Click “Save Changes”

Step 17:

  1. Option 11 – Image:
    • Drag and drop or upload the image file
  2. Click “Save Changes”

Step 18:

  1. Option 12 – Just Text.
  2. Click “Save Changes”

Step 19:

  1. Click “Save”
